Monthly plan service agreement.
Plain language, so you know what you are agreeing to. This is a draft for review before it is relied on.
1. What the plan is
The Monthly plan is white-glove dispatch (one number to text for anything in the house, and we put a vetted firm on it) plus any services you add from the catalog. Every service is priced for your property from its measured lot, and the price per visit, application, storm or season is shown on each service before you add it.
2. Even monthly billing
Services are seasonal; your bill is not. We add up a full year of each service you choose at its per-visit price, divide by twelve, and charge that amount with the membership on the same date each month. The first month is charged when you start. Visits happen when the season calls for them, not evenly through the year.
3. Changing the plan
Add or drop a service any time with a week's notice. The monthly amount changes from the next billing date. Dropping a service mid-season settles that service the same way as a cancellation (section 4).
4. Cancelling and settling up
Cancel the plan any time with a week's notice. When you do, we settle each service on what was actually done: the visits completed, at the per-visit prices you agreed to, plus the membership for the months you were a member. If you have paid more than that, we refund the difference. If you have paid less, because the visits came earlier in the year than the even payments did, you agree to pay the difference, and we charge it to the card on file within seven days of cancellation with an itemized statement sent first.
5. What a visit is
A visit is counted when the crew we send completes the work described on the service card at your property. A visit we cancel, or cannot complete for reasons on our side, is not counted. A visit you turn away at the door after it was confirmed with you counts as completed.
6. Measurements
Prices are based on your lot as measured from county parcel records and aerial imagery, corrected by you where the quote page allowed it. The crew confirms the measurements on the first visit. If they differ materially, we tell you the corrected price before any further work, and you may cancel without settlement for anything not yet done.
7. Payment
Payments are taken by card through Stripe. A failed payment pauses scheduling until it is resolved. We never see or store your card details.
8. Who does the work
Work is done by firms on The HomeGuild register, each of which has passed our Standard. The HomeGuild schedules, checks and bills the work and is your single point of contact for it.
