Three ways in. You pick how much we handle.

Every plan uses the same vetted firms. Join free and we introduce you when there is a job; go monthly and one text starts everything; or hand us the whole house. Firms join by nomination and the Standard, never by paying.

Managed: we carry the whole house.

For a second home, a big lot, or a household that would rather never make the call. One person owns your property’s year, and you get one bill.

  1. 1

    The walk-through

A reviewer meets you at the house and walks every corner with you: roof, systems, irrigation, beds, the things you have been meaning to fix. The walk is free. Most take about forty minutes.

  2. 2

    The written plan

Within a week you have a year’s plan in writing: what gets done, when, by which trade, and one monthly price for all of it.

  3. 3

    The year, handled

Every visit is scheduled, inspected and reported to you. Anything unplanned goes through the same person. You never make the call.

Managed is priced after the walk, because no two properties ask for the same year. Start with your address and choose Managed; a reviewer calls to set the walk.

The questions we get most.

If yours isn’t here, email us. A person answers.

How does The HomeGuild make money?
Three ways, and all of them are on this page. Firms on the register pay us when we introduce them to a member who asked for their trade; they can’t pay to be listed, to rank higher, or to skip any part of the Standard. Monthly members pay for white-glove dispatch and any services they add. Managed members pay the monthly figure in their plan. Free members never pay us anything.
Is the free membership really free?
Yes. No card, no monthly fee, no obligation. When you have a job, at most two vetted firms for that trade contact you at member rates, and you pay the firm directly for the work. The firm pays us for the introduction.
What does the Monthly plan cover?
Dispatch for anything in the house: you text, we find the right vetted firm, confirm the written quote with you before work starts, and follow up after. The work itself is quoted by the firm at member rates. Recurring exterior services are optional, priced for your lot, and billed with the membership as one monthly figure.
What if I cancel the Monthly plan?
Cancel any time with a week’s notice. Services are billed evenly across the year, so on cancellation we settle up on the visits actually completed, at the per-visit prices you agreed to, and refund or charge the difference. The service agreement spells it out.
Can I rent out my home and still join?
Membership is for owner-occupied homes. Landlords and property managers have a different set of incentives and a different set of firms; we may build a register for them later, but not by diluting this one.
What if a listed firm does a bad job for me?
Tell us. A reviewer calls you and the firm within a week. Two substantiated complaints in twelve months trigger an immediate re-review; one substantiated pricing complaint removes the firm outright. Removals are published to members with the reason.
I run a good firm. Why can’t I just apply?
Because a form is the easiest thing in the world to fill in. A nomination from someone who has paid you and would do it again is not. Ask a customer who is a member, or ask a listed firm you’ve worked alongside. Submit a nomination →
Do you cover Nampa and Caldwell as well as Boise?
